John Binek is currently the leader and manager of the juniors-to-be age group (Class of 2014 during the summer of 2012). Binek has over 15 years coaching and developing travel players and is widely known and respected in the Midwest travel baseball circut. He has successfully led a number of different age groups in the program in the past. His experience with the post-sophomore summer makes him a great guy to lead the age group, as he understands the significant development and showcasing focus points of that particular summer in a player's devlopment.
Binek is a professional hitting instructor and is one of the lead hitting minds in the Longshots organization. He helps lead our winter training and development sessions and serves as one of the hitting instructors to the entire Senior Division. Binek is known for fundamentals training and swing improvement.
Binek currently is the Director of Tournaments for Longshots Baseball and formerly served on the Board of Directors as Treasurer.
