Longshots coaches recently took their own spring trips, traveling the country to see a number of college baseball games.  Coaches were on-hand to see Iowa-Western Illinois (3 former Longshots playing), Central Michigan-Notre Dame (5 former Longshots), Bradley-Northern Illinois (8 former Longshots), Illinois State-Creighton (6 former Longshots), and Valparaiso-Butler (3 former Longshots).  A number of Longshots are off to great starts in the 2011 college season, including a great group of 2010 grads seeing substantial playing time as freshmen.  In addition, the staff will be making a stop shortly to see Illinois Wesleyan play North Central, where 7 more former Longshots will be in action.  Stop by and catch an area college game to understand what the game looks like at the next level.
